What are you doing for the holidays?

Will any of these scripts work for you?

“Aunt Martha, do you mind if I bring one healthy dish – you know I’m trying to lose weight, and my doctor’s worried about my high blood pressure.  If only Aunt Thelma’s blood pressure had been better controlled, maybe she wouldn’t have had that stroke and she’d be with us this Thanksgiving.”

“Maybe if the weather’s not bad, we can take a family walk after Thanksgiving dinner, rather than stuffing ourselves until we can barely move.”

“The food is wonderful.  But Im just having 1 plate – I ate a little something at noon so I wouldn’t be starving waiting for 4pm supper.”

“I’ll just cut up some fruit for my dessert.”

“No gravy, please… it’s got to much salt for me and my blood pressure.”

Any other suggestions???
