Walking in winter

If you live up north, go mall walking! Just leave the credit cards at home – the food court generally has poor choices, and spending money you don’t have makes for financial stress, which can lead to overeating… Mall walking is good for exercise, and also for mental health.

If you’re fortunate enough to go on vacation or live down south near the beach, try to go walking on the beach – walking on sand probably burns 50% more calories, and works more muscles than working on a flat surface.
