A key first step in my weight loss program is TRIPLING your daily intake of vegetables. Fruit is good, but it should be eaten, not drunk as juice!
I did residency at the University of Virginia, where they revere their founder, Thomas Jefferson. TJ had his issues (Sally Hemings?), but I ascribe to the follow aphorism of his:
“I have lived temperately, eating little animal food, and that . . . as a condiment for the vegetables, which constitute my principal diet.”
