I add cinnamon and cocoa to my oatmeal every morning.
I use turmeric, cumin, ginger on my fish/poultry/meat. All of these spices may have health benefits, as well – cumin may normalize fat metabolism.
For my 1-2 lbs/day of veggies, I add basil, onion, garlic, Costco Kirkland organic no salt seasoning., plus a TEAspoon of olive oil.
I buy spices in bulk, usually from Amazon, but here’s another choice – much cheaper than the little bottles in the supermarket.
BTW, make sure to read labels. “Sea salt” is salt, and we generally eat too much salt. The 1st ingredient in many seasonings is salt. Beware of salt – too much appears to lead to high blood pressure and heart disease.
