STRESS AND FRUSTRATION

Leaving the Detroit airport hotel today, no one told me that MY terminal was 3 miles away, not the immediately adjacent Delta terminal.  I just knew I was going to miss my flight.  But I got on the shuttle bus that would drive me the 3 miles (I didn’t have time to walk it)…. and the driver was playing the most soothing music – MOTOWN, of course (plus a little Philly)!  I immediately chilled.  With some hustling and luck, I even made my flight.

Music is a big part of my stress relief – something I used to use food to provide.  What music chills you out?

  1. Swimming chills me out (and everyone knows it)… after ripping a couple of heads off at work today someone suggested that I go for a mid-day dip. I wasn’t able to do it at the suggested time but swam later in the evening. It smoothed me right out. I have become addicted to the high that I get during and after a good swim.
