“Paula Deen’s recipes hurt Black people more than her words.”

The Paula Deen controversy is sad.  But, as we noted before, we’ve had problems with the food she’s promoted, and then her promotion of diabetes medications once her own diabetes was revealed.

The NY Times reports that many people sympathize with her situation, including some black fans.  But, all in all, I think shows like hers, which we call “food porn” are unhealthy for all Americans, black, white, brown, yellow, red….  See folks lined up at her Savannah restaurant below. I ate there before changing my habits.
