First, the “turducken.” Now the WSJ describes the arrival of the
“cherpumple,” a three-layer cake with an entire pie baked into each layer—a cherry pie baked inside a white cake, a pumpkin pie baked inside a yellow cake and an apple pie baked inside a spice cake. He stacked the layers and sealed them with a coat of cream-cheese frosting.
Please have some fruit instead… even on Thankgiving. If you must, have a small slice of one dessert, and not this monstrosity.
(I remember as a child, eating on Thanksgiving until we could barely move. This year, I will eat on Thanksgiving just like any other day).
