My blood pressure is normal

I had hypertension, and took meds, before losing weight. No longer!

Having said that, the other day, I was in pain (neck pain; obese folks have a lot of orthopedic problems), and my BP was 140/80.  I know from my days as an anesthesiologist than pain can cause high blood pressure.

Fortunately, that 140/80 was the only time in the last year that my blood pressure’s been up.  I try to take my blood pressure (at the gym usually) twice a month.

Have you checked your BP lately?  High BP is a silent killer!
