LOW-FAT OR LOW-CARB?

A low-fat diet with complex carbs and abundant green vegetables (and fish and meats without added oils) has worked for me for almost 2 years and 125 lbs now…

But, maybe one size does NOT fit all.

Very preliminary work described in today’s Wall Street Journal suggests that one day we may examine our genetics to figure out which kind of eating plan works best in a given individual to promote weight loss.

The truth is not always simple…

  1. Dr. John,
Hello..all is well in my neck of the woods. I have been checking out your microwave
cooking and guess what? I am hooked! Dinner in < 10 minutes. Can't beat that. I have
been cooking sweet potatoes in the micro for sometime; so now I am doing the salmon,
collard greeens, broccoli (a favorite of mine), spinach, etc.. Success with each item –
never thought that I would make such a change since I enjoy cooking but, this method
allowes me to eat in < 10 minutes.
Need to return to the gym and workout again and then I should see some results.
    Thanks for your tutelage…..mk

  2. That’s quite a complement from such a master cook!
    Many thanks
