We’d all love that… spend $19.95, make ourselves feel better (like we’re really doing something…)
Unfortunately, you know if you heart of hearts those promises are gimmicks.
A few ways to start on this journey, keeping in mind that quick fixes generally don’t work:
- Stop drinking soda, fruit, lemonade, etc… Drink water. Drink green tea (unsweetened), Eat the fruit, don’t drink the juice.
- Get a buddy in this journey – in person, or use online tools/communities.
- Commit to walking 30 min a day for the next 30 days. Don’t kill yourself. Use a heart rate monitor and aim for heart rate of 115 to start. Rome was not built in a day. Consistency and building good habits are what count.
