I eat the same breakfast everyday. Regularizing meals is one key feature of successful weight losers who maintain it.
MY OATMEAL ; I add cinnamon (without sugar) and pure cocoa powder (a tablespoon of each!) to my oatmeal for flavor, and 2 scoops protein powder to stay satisfied longer.
Kids who skip breakfast are heavier at baseline, and then gain more weight, than breakfast eaters! Why? Unclear, but the “skippers” probably end up eating more “junk” as they get hungry during the day.
So, have your kids eat breakfast. However, I don’t recommend sugar-loaded things like FruitLoops, PopTarts, etc.
