JOB STRESS AND HEALTH HABITS

Stress can contribute to bad eating and poor exercise habits.  This article in the NYT “At Closing Plant, Ordeal Included Heart Attacks” talks about how the stress of job loss might increase death and disease rates.

I don’t pretend that losing a job isn’t a tremendously painful stressor, but one benefit is that it can provide time to spend exercise, cooking, enjoying family…  Try turning lemons into lemonade!
