How would you like you silicone fried?

Processed foods have many additives and chemicals. This story was alarming to me.

Reports SFGate.com:

CNN has revealed that the fast-food chain makes this popular menu item with the chemical preservative tBHQ, tertiary butylhydroquinone, a petroleum-based product. Mcnuggets also contain dimethylpolysiloxane, “an anti-foaming agent” also used in Silly Putty.

Unfortunately, the truth is that even if you buy “unprepared” raw “chicken” in the store, it usually has been grown in crowded, unhygienic conditions, and plumped up with salt before you ever get it.  But this adds insult to injury!

I try to prepare my own food as much as possible.

All Chicken McNuggets not created equal
