How did I got motivated to change?

Before, I wrote about breaking a chair at a busy restaurant in NYC’s Rockefeller Plaza at Christmas time.  Yes, right in front of the ice skaters 🙁

I now remember another story.

A couple of years ago, before starting my weightloss, I went to the Bahamas to spend a few days with my best friend and his wife while they were down there on vacation.

jee_cane_fat_neck braceThe airlines lost my luggage.  The challenge – where do I find 3X and 4X clothes to buy?  I was ready to cry.  It was so hard getting nice clothes at that size, and now I wasn’t going to be able to wear anything decent to go out at night with them.  My brother took me to the local street vendors, where I was at least able to find some T shirts and shorts.

The bag showed up 3 days later, as I was ready to return home.
