I was reading one of your blogs where you said you gave up grapefruit juice. I thought grapefruit was a good source of Vitamin C and a diuretic?
My answer:
I loved grapefruit juice. I used to drink 1-2 quarts a day. That’s ~400 calories/quart and represents 4 grapefruits. No way I could eat that many grapefruit every day!That much juice is too much sugar. The more food is processed (juice is processed fruit), the easier it is to overindulge. Plus you lose (some of) the benefits of the pulp/fiber in the whole fruit.Eat the fruit; don’t drink the juice!
