Good ol’ turmeric.

Curcumin, the active ingredient in Tumeric, not only makes your food taste good (without adding calories), it also balances your blood sugar and insulin sensitivity according to recent research reports. In addition, it may have anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties. I use a lot of turmeric in my meals.

I typically use it to season fish and meat (like the pork above) before nuking/steaming. No salt or added fat, just plain turmeric for a low fat, and healthy easy-to-prepare meal.
