Another study, this one from Taiwan, shows that people who do not eat breakfast are MORE likely to be obese than those who do eat breakfast.
Start your day off right – eat breakfast every day! I believe it is important to include some protein in breakfast. Some suggestions:
- Egg white omelet with veggies and whole wheat toast.
- Non-fat yogurt or cottage cheese with fruit and cinnamon.
- My favorite: oatmeal, protein powder, skim milk, and dried fruit.
I don’t add sugar or jam or jelly (sugar) or honey to any of these. Cinnamon adds flavor and sweetness, and may be good at lowering blood sugar.
