It’s an old adage that one should not go to the grocery store hungry. That happened to me last night… and I ended up with some chocolate to show for it!
Now, a little chocolate is probably good for you; and I got the darkest I could find (85% cacao). But, it’s a setup for danger.
I’ve also learned not to COOK when hungry. One thing I do is to prepare my meals in advance – I make my oatmeal the night before, so it’s ready to go into the microwave in the morning. Then, as I finish breakfast, I start preparing my lunch. That way, I’m preparing my meals when I’m already satisfied.
