Today, it’s Colorado Springs… cold and almost snowing. Lecturing at the Colorado Society of Anesthesiologists meeting…
Colorado is the LEAST obese state in the nation. And the food served at the meeting helps to explain it. It’s the least fatty food I’ve seen in a hotel buffet in along time… and I was able to eat my lunch there (normally I would go off and get my own meal.)
(Of course, it’s hard to get too overweight at 5000+ feet)
Colorado breakfast this morning: blackberries, raspberries, and pineapple; 3 hard boiled eggs (whites only); 16 oz skim milk. First time in months I’ve not had my usual oatmeal / protein powder / cinnamon / skim milk / dried cherries; back to that in the AM!
