Another man’s weight loss experience

Hi Dr Ellis, thanks for sharing your weight loss success, i’ve lost 211 lbs, I started my weight loss lifestyle change January 2011

How I Lost 100 lbs What have been keys to your success?

Reginald Gresham My dad passed in November 2010, I watched them administer his dialysis in his hospital room, that was truly a wake up call and a driving force that continues to fuel me. My highest weight was 446, I currently weigh 235 lbs. The keys have been portion control meals, exercising and water!!

How I Lost 100 lbs What foods? How much, and what kind of exercise?

Reginald Gresham I stick with baked, grilled, steamed meats, mainly chicken & fish, everything is portioned. A serving for me is chicken approx the size of my fist, veggies is about a scoop size equal to a tennis ball. My main exercise is walking via treadmill and outdoors, I walk 4 miles on weekdays and 6 miles on weekends, I purchased a bowflex and I use that as well!!
