Am I too extreme?

I’ve been told that… but this is what it took to lose 125 lbs!

I don’t go hungry… I have not done this with “willpower.”  I have done this by changing WHAT I eat.  As much as possible, I don’t eat prepared / take out / restaurant food.  Like momma instructed, I eat my veggies, and plenty of them.

  1. I think that it is great that you lost weight, but IT IS TOO EXTREME!!!! You LOOK AWFUL!!! YOU LOOK AT LEAST 20 YEARS OLDER!!!!!

  2. 2nd photo not the best. No smile. Most people tell me I look younger now. I know I have a “turkey” neck, but high blood pressure and prediabetes are gone, and I no longer need CPAP for sleep apnea. I feel MUCH better than I used.

I appreciate your response and perspective.

  3. Dr. Ellis,

You neither look awful nor 20 years older. You certainly look and are healthier than before – and that really is the bottom line. A wise man once told me that good looks are secondary to good health.

Just smile for your next photo shoot 😀
