Every summer since I lost weight, I’ve allowed myself to eat as many cherries as I want. I usually gain 5 lbs, then lose them once cherry season ends. That hasn’t happened this year.
So here’s my plan: Rather than having an 8p snack (I normally eat dinner at 5p or 530p if I can), I’m going back to drinking a cup of HERBAL tea before bedtime.
I normally drink green tea all day. It helps stoke metabolism and reduce appetite. But I try to stop after 5pm (green tea has some caffeine in it), so I can sleep. Otherwise, sleep deprivation can contribute to weight gain as well.
